A key strength of NCEO is in generating new data products from Earth observation datasets.
NCEO produces various datasets related to climate change, including measurements of greenhouse gases, atmospheric composition, land surface changes and ocean health. These datasets are valuable for understanding the dynamics of climate change on a global scale and informing policies and actions to address it.
Our scientists have designed a range of software tools to analyse the Earth System. These tools include algorithms for extracting and comparing Earth observation data, as well as models that simulate environmental processes. These resources are in the public domain in repositories such as GitHub.
