Research interests
I am interested in fast domain processes within the hydrological cycle and the relationship between climate change and the earth’s energy balance. Advancing our understanding of atmospheric moisture transport is essential to improve predictions of how freshwater fluxes will change in a warmer climate. I work on algorithm development for stable water vapour isotopologues from the next generation of shortwave infrared spectrometers, climate model evaluation, and co-chair the Global Energy and Water cycle Exchanges (GEWEX) Water Vapor Assessment (G-VAP).
