Field, Laboratory and Airborne Measurement Capabilities
Field, Laboratory and Airborne Measurement Capabilities
We operate state-of-the-art laboratory facilities at Space Park Leicester and King’s College London at Rothamstead Research,
Our laboratories encompass airborne and satellite remote sensing, environmental modelling, fieldwork and in situ and laboratory measurement and experimentation.
At the University of Leicester, we have access to a number of multi-purpose laboratories, which NCEO-affiliated staff and students can use in support of their research. These labs, located at Space Park Leicester, are home to a wide range of equipment and instrumentation for use in the field.
Research areas covered by the Leicester lab capability include air quality, atmospheric composition, land surface temperature, and greenhouse gas measurements. There is also a rooftop space at Space Park Leicester which we use for field instrument testing and some longer-term observations.
