National Centre for Earth Observation will join the National Centre for Atmospheric Science at New Scientist Live. Our stand located at F45 “The Air We Breathe: Uncovering pollution around us” will dive into the world of air pollution, shedding light on how our scientists monitor and track pollutants across the globe, from space and from the ground.

A team of experts from the University of Leicester, King’s College London, the University of Leeds, RAL Space, and Space4Climate will guide visitors through a journey from indoor air quality to global pollution. Exploring the sources, impacts, and methods of monitoring air pollution across different scales—from indoor spaces to global patterns.

With contributions from renowned UK institutions, visitors will have the unique opportunity to interact with real scientists, participate in hands-on demonstrations, and learn about the future of air quality monitoring, the importance of climate action and how pollution control strategies tie into global efforts to reduce carbon emissions.
